US Boards sanctioned oil tanker linked to Venezuelan oil
After following the Aquila II oil ship from the Caribbean to the Indian Ocean, the US Navy boarded it. According to the US, the ship was violating regulations related to oil sanctions on Venezuela. After inspecting the ship, the military released a video showing soldiers getting on board from a helicopter. In an effort to curb illicit oil shipments from Venezuela, which have already decreased the nation's oil output, the US is taking this measure.
